Chris Stepien has spent his career asking tough questions and telling intriguing stories. His passion for storytelling took Stepien from Wayne State University directly to the American Broadcasting Company, where he logged over eight years as a producer, director and writer for WXYZ-TV, Detroit. Stepien won six Detroit Emmys and a national Emmy nomination, while producing a variety of programs, including gritty documentaries, sports profiles and prime-time celebrity specials. He left broadcasting in 1987 to launch and co-own AdVenture, Inc., a film and video production company that provided marketing and advertising for international clients. From 1996 to 2017, Chris operated Stepien Creative Services, Inc., focusing on writing, creative direction and consulting. In 2015, he made his literary debut with a biblical novel about 12-year-old Jesus. He followed that with a non-fiction book in 2016. In 2017, Stepien and his wife, Ellen, moved to Chicago. With his blogs, he continues to pose compelling questions. Stepien's messages are always grounded in the everlasting truth that can change lives.
